BSC swap pending or failed? Check the transaction first
A pending BSC swap has not settled; a failed one has. Check the transaction hash, receipt, gas fee and token balances before retrying or replacing it.

A pending BNB Smart Chain swap has not yet been included in a block; a failed swap was processed but did not complete its contract call, according to BscScan’s transaction-status guide. That difference determines whether to wait or diagnose the swap before trying again.
How can I tell if a BSC swap is pending or failed?
Search the transaction hash on BscScan, which labels transactions Success, Pending or Failed. A pending status means the transaction is waiting to be included; BscScan says network traffic or a low gas fee can delay inclusion.
If the record says Failed, check its receipt and any displayed error. BscScan says a failed transaction leaves the intended transfer amount in the sender’s wallet, but still deducts the gas fee. A wallet’s spinner or error message is less useful than the on-chain record.
What should I check before retrying the swap?
For a pending transaction, confirm the selected network, sender address and hash, then check whether the same transaction is still pending on BscScan. Don’t submit another swap blindly: a delayed original could still execute, leaving you with two swaps.
For a failed one, compare the transaction details with the swap settings you signed: token pair, amount, minimum received and gas limit. A swap can revert if its conditions are no longer met, including when the quoted output falls below the minimum you accepted. For chart context and wallet checks, see this Poocoin guide to BNB Chain charts and wallet checks.
- Check the receipt status and error message.
- Check whether the gas fee was charged.
- Check your token balances and recent transfers on BscScan.
- Confirm the original transaction’s status before retrying.
Can I speed up or replace a pending swap?
BscScan’s pending-transaction guidance identifies a low gas fee as one possible cause of delay. If your wallet offers a speed-up or cancel option, review what it will sign; replacement transactions use the same account and nonce, and wallet behavior can vary. A replacement may take time to appear on the explorer.
After a failed swap, check the receipt before submitting a new one with corrected settings. The intended token transfer does not complete on failure, but the gas fee is spent. Don’t repeat the same call without understanding the displayed error.
When is the swap actually complete?
BscScan marks a transaction Success once it has been included and processed, but your wallet’s display can lag behind. Check the transaction’s token transfers and your balance on the correct network. BscScan says confirmation requirements can vary by service, so a successful swap may not appear immediately in every interface.
Next, monitor the hash until its status updates, then verify the token balance; whether a pending transaction will be included, replaced or dropped remains unconfirmed until the explorer reflects the outcome.
